This book has one alphabet letter per page, shown In both capital and lower case, plus pages for soft C and soft G. Each letter has 3 speech bubbles with colorful pictures of example words that use that sound. The words are also written on the page with the letter highlighted in red, both at the beginning of the word and wherever else it appears in the word.
How to teach phonics with this book...
Just flip through the book, saying the sounds and the words. . It only takes 5 minutes, and after a few weeks the kids will be able say the sounds, and will also have also learned 3 words for each sound. For ESL kids, this is a lot more new vocabulary than they can learn from a poster, or many of the phonics card sets available.
